Challenge

The challenge for this project was to create a set of editorial spreads by integrating type, iamge, grid and other design principles.

Approach

Once I had the right article, I laid out and planned the illustrations, pull quotes, and type into the desired grid through a series of unique thumbnails. After I chose which direction I wanted, I illustrated my images and began typesetting. My goal was to create spreads that are easily legible, engaging, and an extension of my own art style.
